Playtech Signs Deal with Warner Bros., Will Develop DC Comics Slots

Playtech deals with Warner Bros after signing a multi-year licensing deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment.

Due to the fact that Playtech deals with Warner Bros, the popular casino software provider will be able to develop four iconic DC Comics branded film and television properties into leading omni-channel casino games.

The new action-packed real-money casino games are going to begin rolling out this year.

The four titles include the DC Comics 1960’s Batman Classic TV Series, as well as Warner Bros. Pictures’ feature films, Man of Steel (2013), Green Lantern (2011), and Superman I (1978) and Superman II (1980).

Meaning, Superman fans will get at least four different Superman-themed slots, and there will also be at least one Green Lantern slot game. Some players will be disaapointed with the absence of other popular DC Comics characters such as Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. But the foundation is definitely laid for development of slot games based on these characters in the future.
