Ghost Ship is a Realtime Gaming (RTG) slot that was released in March 2015 and that features a sunk pirate ship theme, along with inevitable ghosts that haunt it and its treasure. You assume the role of an explorer of a pirate shipwreck and must find the treasure before the ghosts still guarding their plunder find you. Brave the high seas and claim the lost treasure – if you dare!

Being a RTG slot, Ghost Rider is available to USA residents in those casinos that accept them. EU players can play as well, and if you happen to be from South Africa you can play casino games in casinos that accept SA customers – and most of them have Realtime Gaming software and the Ghost Ship slot game.

Ghost Ship features 5 reels and 25 paylines, and what’s interesting about this slot game is that the absolute maximum you can bet on a single spin is just $6.25. Minimum is, of course, $0.01 per line, and you can choose one line only. Due to such low maximum bet, you’ll likely be playing this one on Autoplay, setting it up as you see fit, as there are plenty of options to choose from when you click Autoplay. Turbo is an important box for this slot, as the reels don’t spin fast enough.

Graphics got a poor grade because, well, they’re too monotone in both color and in character. The developers felt the need to sprinkle green alge on almost every symbol, and it’s just too much, even the biggest fans of the stuff would have enough by the hundredth spin. Resolution is good, this is a 2015 game after all, but the slot game could have had much more color. The line markers on the sides, however, could use less – the vivid colors are ruining the pirate theme.

Ghost Ship is a slot game in which you’ll be watching the spins slowly eating up your bankroll until you hit the free spins feature, and then you’ll win big. That was the case during our test play, for a long time nothing happened and then we won more than a grand (pictured above). That’s how this slot game behaves.

There are also two progressive jackpots but no bonus game. The return-to-player (RTP) isn’t publicly revealed for this slot, but we suspect it’s not too high, based on pure observation. It’s a new slot, it’s a progressive slot, and it’s a slot which US players can play – all signs of low-RTP slot. This one’s got high variance as well, it will likely chew deep into your bankroll before it spits out a big win.

When a Ghost Captain Wild or Ghost Ship Scatter appear, Ghost Captains may fill the rest of the reel they appear on. In free games, that will always be the case. For every Captain or Ship symbol that appears anywhere on the triggering game, 2 free games will be awarded.

You can play Ghost Ship at any casino that has Realtime Gaming software, and there are certainly plenty of those. 5Dimes have our top vote as usual. You’ll find this game in their Grand Casino, which is one of three casinos under the same umbrella. The best bonus you can get is at Lucky Red, 400% up to $4000.
