Rudolph’s Revenge is a slot game that’s part of the Realtime Gaming (RTG) Christmas slots series and is a rather old title as it was released in January 2009. It doesn’t show in the graphics, and this is actually a nice Christmas slot with a dark sense of humour and a decent return to player percentage. Despite being a bit old, it’s available for play on all mobile devices.
The overworked Rudolph has had enough, and decided he will no longer be working for Santa, pulling that heavy sleigh. He tied Santa and his elves up, leaving a gift in shape of a ticking bomb with a tag “To Santa. Love. R”. We see Rudolph smoking a cigar and carrying that club which he used to force Santa and elves into submission.
All symbols pay left to right except for Scatter, and there are 50 compulsory paylines, and this is actually the first 50-payline slot coming from Realtime Gaming. Rudolph is the Wild symbol and substitutes for all other symbols except Scatters, as usual. Prizes are doubled when one or more Rudolphs substitute a winning combination, and five Rudolphs bring you a 5000 coin jackpot.
The Timebomb is the Scatter symbol and scatter wins are multiplied by total bet up to 20x. Three or more Scatters trigger the bonus game, and it will be a while before that happens. The bonus game is 7 free spins which doesn’t seem like much, but it seems the Scatters are more common during bonus play as we’ve managed to re-trigger the feature whopping seven times, getting 56 free spins in total and earning $488 (pictured below). Very nice, the bonus feature is worth the wait and it will bring you back to positive.
Santa is the most valuable normal symbol, followed by the half as valuable Frozen Elf and the again half as valuable Tied Elf.
All in all, Rudolph’s Revenge is a decent Christmas-themed slot game that lacks the magic and the bells and whistles of newer titles but the graphics isn’t bad by any means. When it comes to gameplay and the pure value as a slot, in this aspect Rudolph’s Revenge delivers. While the normal play is as unrewarding as usual with most slots, the bonus game is well worth the wait as you’ll definitely make money on it. And there’s also the rich jackpot to look forward to. Rudolph’s Revenge is worth playing.
Rudolph’s Revenge RTP and Where to Play
Rudolph’s Revenge is configurable by the casino, as is common Realtime Gaming slots, and is available in three payout settings: Low, Medium and High. Low is 91%, Medium is 95% and High is 97.5%. So we’re rating this one as a 97.50% RTP game, though the challenge here is finding a casino that has Rudolph’s Revenge set on the High payout setting. Your best bet is 5Dimes, or their Grand Casino to be more precise, as they’re known for high payouts overall and probably have this game set at 97.50%.
Maximum bet seems to be locked at $2.00, at least that’s what we got during test play. Rudolph’s Revenge won’t be eating up your bankroll and you can safely start playing with as little as $500. It will be enough to get you to that free spins feature which will make you some money.
